When I become adult (or should I say older) I became fond of a settled life in contrast to my younger version who were afraid of settlement and confinement. Nowadays I prefer comfort zone instead of adventure.

Oh Shelly! Your post made me laugh out loud, mainly because it’s so true and relatable.

Something that hits me different is the whole notion of time. When I was in school, the years seemed to drag on and on. They say time goes faster as you get older and I have to say it’s true. But we have to cherish and make the most of every moment because time is the one thing that’s the same for all of us—and we can’t get more of it no matter what we do!

Haha so glad I could put a smile on your face 😅
You’re right about time… it’s shocking how we are suddenly at the end of 2022 when just yesterday we didn’t even know about the potential pandemic 🤯

The best part of being an adult is that I’m steering the ship. Our favorite saying (my wife and I are both retired) is every day is the weekend in retirement.

Girl.. I have one word… GRAPES! 🤣I don’t know how much grapes cost in other parts of the world but one of the first things I bought when I moved out on my own as an adult was grapes and I guess I didn’t realize how expensive grapes are!??! But they are expensive 🤣 This is actually a thing, at least in my friend group! We’ve all experienced our first-time-adulting-with-grapes moments LOL
